Please read these Terms of Service carefully before commissioning any work from NexArt. By submitting a project brief or making a payment, you agree to these terms.

  1. OUR SERVICES

NexArt provides custom illustration and publishing services including:

  • Character design and illustration
  • Scene illustration
  • Book cover art
  • Children’s book illustration
  • Book formatting and publishing support

All services are provided exclusively for clean, family-friendly content. We reserve the right to decline any project that does not meet our content standards.

  1. CLEAN CONTENT POLICY

NexArt works exclusively with clean, family-friendly stories. We do not illustrate:

  • Adult or explicit content
  • Spicy or sexually suggestive themes
  • Stories that contain such content anywhere in the series

By submitting a project brief, you confirm that your story meets our clean content standard. If we discover during the project that content does not meet this standard, we reserve the right to terminate the project. In such cases, any deposit paid is non-refundable.

  1. PAYMENT TERMS
  • A 50% deposit is required before work begins
  • The remaining 50% is due upon final delivery
  • We accept payment via PayPal and bank transfer
  • All prices are in US Dollars (USD)
  • Prices are subject to change — your quoted price is locked in once the deposit is paid
  1. REVISIONS

We offer unlimited revisions throughout the project. Revisions must be requested before final files are delivered. Once final files have been delivered and approved, additional changes may incur extra charges.

  1. DELIVERY AND TIMELINES
  • First concept sketches are delivered within 7 days of project start
  • Final delivery timelines are agreed upon before work begins
  • Timelines may be affected by the number of revision rounds requested
  • NexArt is not responsible for delays caused by late feedback from clients
  1. COMMERCIAL LICENSE

Unless otherwise agreed, all completed artwork includes a commercial license that allows you to:

  • Use the artwork on your book cover
  • Use the artwork for marketing and promotional purposes
  • Use the artwork on social media and author platforms
  • Use the artwork on merchandise

The commercial license does not transfer copyright ownership. NexArt retains the right to display completed artwork in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.

  1. COPYRIGHT AND OWNERSHIP
  • NexArt retains full copyright of all artwork created
  • Upon final payment, you receive a commercial license as described above
  • You may not resell, redistribute, or claim ownership of the artwork
  • You may not use the artwork for purposes beyond those covered by the commercial license without written permission from NexArt
  1. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
  • If you cancel before work begins, your deposit will be refunded in full
  • If you cancel after work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable
  • If NexArt cancels the project for reasons other than content policy violations, a full refund will be issued
  • Refunds are not available once final files have been delivered and approved
  1. CONFIDENTIALITY

We respect your creative work. We will not share your story details, manuscript, or project information with any third party without your consent.

  1. PORTFOLIO DISPLAY

By default, NexArt reserves the right to display completed artwork in our portfolio and on social media. If you would like your artwork kept private, please notify us in writing before project completion and we will honour your request.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

NexArt’s liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific project in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services.

  1. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
